Rainbow Wags January 2023

Ready for the Rain!

Welcome to 2023!

Rainbow is ready to launch into 2023. Staff have already been checking out new products, styles and events for the coming year, and it is exciting to see what’s coming up “in store!”

If you are slogging around in all this mud, take a look at the rain boots and rain gear available at Rainbow. We can also help you with the chores that winter weather brings – pumps, shovels and chain saws for outdoor clean up; tarps to keep the rain off; pet supplies and clothing to keep your furry friends warm and dry; stall mats and shavings for the outdoor critters. . . Don’t see what you need? Just ask one of the friendly and experienced Rainbow staff!

One exciting new line of products in Rainbow stores now – Snappy Tom premium cat food.

Snappy Tom is an iconic brand, launched over 50 years ago in Adelaide, Australia. It was the first brand there to focus on fish as a main protein source for Australia’s cats. Prior to that, cats were fed mainly beef, lamb, and chicken as protein sources. The arrival of Snappy Tom paved the way for healthy, pure fish protein segments in cat food, and all the positive health aspects associated with it, such as Omega oils for joint, heart, and coat health.
Proud to be made from real fish for real cats, Snappy Tom has become a favorite for cats in Australia, Asia and Europe, and can now be enjoyed by cats across the United States and in Canada, including Lake and Mendocino Counties!

January is National Walk Your Dog Month!

When we are inside on beautiful, warm days, the outside calls to us, and it’s easy to jump off our couches and take our pups for a long walk. However, in the cold month of January, it can understandably be a little more difficult to drag yourself out of your cozy home, and dog walks may feel more like a chore than a good time. That’s the point behind January’s designation as Walk Your Dog Month. During these coldest days of the year, we all need a little motivation to get outside regularly with our pets. Need some good reasons to get out with your pup? Read This Article courtesy of the American Humane Society.

Now cats . . . usually no need to get out in the rain with your favorite kitty! She’ll be happy cuddling up on your couch or playing with a new toy!

Cats are considered mysterious – do you know these eight surprising fact about Felines? Read Article courtesy of the Snappy Tom blog.
