NATRC Region 1 Eel River Competitive Trail Ride – June 8 & 9. Sanctioned by the North American Trail Ride conference but you don’t need to be a member to ride. Come join us for a fun weekend trail riding your horse. Open division is 25 to 30 miles a day, CP and Novice divisions are 15 to 20 miles a day and the Leisure division is 10 miles. This is a judged competition but it’s lots of fun. Novice, CP and Open check in on Friday afternoon and Leisure on Saturday morning. 94th Annual Lake County Rodeo has a new, temporary venue this year. Though their new permanent Rodeo grounds are under construction, the rodeo will go on! This year, it will be held at the Potter Valley Rodeo Grounds on July 13th and 14th. Head over to Potter Valley and enjoy CCRPA Rodeo events, Drill teams, Mutton Bustin’, Cutest Lil’ Cowpoke Contest, Local Team Roping, Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping, and all the good fun of this historic rodeo!
