There were an amazing amount of entries – over 650 total! So many pretty, funny, playful, soulful dogs. We enjoyed seeing all of them. Local riders and their horses were honored with national awards at the recent North American Trail Ride Conference convention which was held March 8 and 9 in Reno, Nevada. Based out of White Dog Ranch, in Potter Valley, CA, the riders include Junior competitors Aubrey Fansler, Natalie Niederost, Claire Cichocki, Chesney Kelly and Anais Monlu. It is time to find out what is going on in Lake County equestrian circles this year, at the Lake County Horse Council and Purina’s Evening of Meet & Greet, on Thursday, April 18th at 6:PM. This is a free event, where clubs, groups, stables or trainers can set up a table, and everyone can mingle and learn about the variety of equestrian activities in Lake County.
