Ever wonder exactly how much Strategy or Equine Senior you should be feeding your horse? Check out the Feed Calculator from Purina! Pick your horse’s lifestyle and the calculator will offer the amount, in pounds, of each type of appropriate Purina feed, along with any forage (hay &/or pasture) needed. Some Purina feeds, such as Equine Senior, are Complete Feeds, and the forage is included in the feed. This is especially helpful for older horses who have poor teeth. For horses who are able to digest hay or pasture, Concentrate Feeds will supplement and balance the diet. The feed calculator provides how much of each type of feed to start with for the average horse, and then one can customize it to meet your horse’s individual needs.
