Rainbow Wags July 2019

1/2 off iClean Dog Wash with any purchase

Beat the heat for all of your family – pets, livestock, equines and yourself! – with help from Rainbow Ag!

No matter how much we enjoy summer, it is important to be cautious about heat and heat-related illness with our pets. While leaving a pet or person in a hot car is an obvious NO, other situations can sneak up on us. Be aware of the symptoms of overheating in Dogs or Cats.  Provide shade, cool fresh water, and exercise in the cooler times of the day. Do the 5 second rule before walking your pet on asphalt or concrete – place the back of your hand on the asphalt. If you can not hold it there for 5 seconds, it is too hot for your pet’s bare paws! Encourage water consumption with a drinking fountain. Cats especially are encouraged to drink when the water is moving a bit! Rainbow has all the products needed to keep your pets and other animals safe, cool and comfortable. We have a full line of water tanks, automatic water fountains, water misting systems, insect repellent, fly masks and equine health products like West Nile vaccine. And, don’t forget that we now carry Boss Dog Frozen Yogurt Treats! A great way to reward your dog and provide a cooling tasty snack after a hike or walk. Need help finding just the right product at any of our three locations? Just ask one of the experienced Rainbow team!

Keep YOUR cool too, with a Pelican cooler! These high-quality coolers have passed the 5 day ice challenge, and Rainbow has a variety of styles to suit every need, from long camping trip to picnic lunch. A special deal at Rainbow while they last! Or, how about some new, cool shorts or a lightweight tee or western shirt? Lots of new styles of summer clothing in the stores now. Don’t forget to protect your head with a cap or Western hat!

Did your dog get dirty out playing in the lake or river? Just swing by either the Ukiah or Lakeport stores and wash ’em off with the iClean self-serve dog wash!  The iClean provides warm water, blow dryers, shampoo and conditioner. A common question is, how long does the iClean run “per wash?” The wash time is 10 minutes, but there is a pause button so that you can scrub up that muddy pup and then resume the time to rinse or dry! Check out this month’s Subscriber Coupon and get a dog wash for just half-price, with any purchase from the store. Perfect for any size dog … and has even been used to wash a goat!
